Ingredients

For the Tortilla Rolls
  • 6 medium flour tortillas taco or burrito size
  • 4 tbsp butter melted, or coconut oil
For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • 0.25 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Optional Toppings
  • Honey, Maple Syrup, or Glaze for drizzling

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Pastry brush (optional)

Method

  1. In a shallow dish, mix the sugar and cinnamon until fully combined.
  2. Lay tortillas flat and brush one entire side of each with melted butter.
  3. Tightly roll each tortilla into a cylinder. Cut into 4-5 pinwheels or leave whole.
  4. Roll the buttered side/edges of the rolls through the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place rolls in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they don't touch.
  6. Air fry for 8-12 minutes, flipping once, until deep golden, crispy, and the sugar is melted and gooey.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and crispy, optionally drizzled with a gooey topping like honey.

Notes

Do not crowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary. Use tightly rolled tortillas for the best structure and crunch.
