- Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in cold, cubed butter using a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs with pea-sized butter bits.
- Stir in buttermilk until a shaggy dough forms, then gently fold in blueberries.
- Scoop mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze.
- Cool biscuits slightly before drizzling with glaze.
Notes
Keep butter as cold as possible for flaky layers. Do not thaw frozen blueberries before adding to dough to prevent streaking.
