Method
- Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Fold in flour and baking soda until just combined. Stir in white chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough and roll into balls for the faces. Roll tiny marble-sized balls for ears and attach them firmly to the top of the face balls.
- Space cookies 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Remove from oven. Immediately press a white chocolate wafer onto the lower center of each hot cookie to create the snout.
- Allow cookies to cool completely on the tray.
- Using melted dark chocolate and a toothpick or piping bag, draw eyes and a nose/mouth on the snout. Use pink melts to dot the cheeks.
Notes
Ensure the cookies are fully cool before piping the eyes, or the chocolate will bloom and run.
