Ingredients

Dough
  • 2.5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats blended into flour
  • 1 large ripe banana mashed
  • 0.33 cup dog-safe peanut butter NO xylitol
  • 1 large egg lightly beaten
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon optional

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Food processor or blender
  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin
  • Cookie Cutter

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Process the rolled oats in a blender or food processor until they form a coarse flour.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the banana thoroughly. Add the peanut butter and egg, and mix until combined.
  4. Add the oat flour and cinnamon to the wet ingredients and mix until a stiff dough forms.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  6. Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer, not touching.
  7. Air fry for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and firm.
  8. Let the treats cool completely on a wire rack before storing.

Notes

Ensure your peanut butter is xylitol-free. Cooking time may vary based on your air fryer model and treat size.
