Baked Boursin Salmon

A luxurious yet incredibly simple dinner featuring oven-roasted salmon topped with melting garlic and herb cheese sauce.

Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 1.5 lbs salmon fillet whole side or cut into portions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly cracked
Topping
  • 1 package Boursin Cheese Garlic & Fine Herbs (5.2 oz)
  • 0.5 lemon juiced
  • 0.5 lemon sliced for garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or thyme chopped

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Pat salmon dry with paper towels and place in the baking dish. Squeeze lemon juice over the fish and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Crumble or spread the Boursin cheese generously over the top of the salmon fillet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily, and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  5. Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes to brown the cheese slightly.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh herbs and lemon slices. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve with asparagus or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
