Ingredients
  

Turkey Base
  • 1 lb ground turkey 93% lean
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
Bowls & Veggies
  • 2 cups white rice cooked
  • 2 cups broccoli florets steamed
  • 1 cup red cabbage shredded
Bang Bang Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Rice cooker or pot
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Whisk

Method
 

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and vinegar until smooth. Refrigerate.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned and crumbled.
  4. Stir in garlic, ginger, and soy sauce with the turkey; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Push turkey to the side or remove, then add broccoli to the pan with a splash of water. Cover and steam 2-3 minutes.
  6. Assemble bowls: Rice base, topped with turkey, broccoli, and cabbage.
  7. Generously drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the bowls.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Store sauce separately if meal prepping to keep the dish fresh.
