- Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- While pasta cooks, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat. Season with salt, pepper, and onion powder.
- Push beef to the side. Add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir beef back in. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add drained pasta to the skillet. Pour in 1/4 cup reserved pasta water.
- Toss vigorously until sauce coats the pasta. Add more pasta water if needed for glossiness.
- Remove from heat. Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
Don't forget to salt your pasta water generously; it's the only chance to flavor the pasta itself.
