Ingredients
  

The Drink
  • 2 oz aged rum Jamaican or dark rum
  • 0.75 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 0.5 oz orange curaçao or Triple Sec
  • 0.5 oz orgeat syrup almond syrup
Garnish
  • 1 cup crushed ice pebble ice
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • 3 whole fresh cranberries
  • 1 slice blood orange dried or fresh

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Rocks Glass
  • Jigger

Method
 

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with cubed ice.
  2. Add rum, lime juice, orange curaçao, and orgeat syrup.
  3. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until the shaker is frosty.
  4. Strain into a rocks glass filled to the top with crushed ice.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig (slap it first to release aroma), a slice of blood orange, and fresh cranberries.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic mocktail version, substitute the rum for pineapple juice and the curaçao for orange juice.
