Ingredients
  

The Patties
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef 80/20
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix 1 oz dry mix
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
The Sauce & Buns
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp ranch seasoning reserved from packet
  • 4 buns brioche buns toasted

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Cook bacon until crispy. Cool and chop into small bits. Shred the cheddar cheese.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and 1 tsp ranch seasoning to make the sauce. Refrigerate.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bacon, cheese, remaining ranch packet, Worcestershire, and garlic powder. Mix gently.
  4. Form into 4 equal patties. Make a thumb indentation in the center of each.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until crusty and cooked through.
  6. Toast buns in the skillet. Assemble burgers with sauce, patties, and desired toppings.

Notes

Do not overmix the meat or the burgers will be tough. Ensure the skillet is very hot to get a good crust.
