Base
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
Toppings
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce whole berry preferable
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese sliced
  • 4 strips bacon cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme leaves stripped

Equipment

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Top cranberry sauce with sliced Brie cheese.
  5. Brush the outer border of the pastry with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is puffy and golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from oven. Immediately top with crumbled bacon and fresh thyme leaves.
  8. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm. Can be reheated in the oven for 5 minutes if made ahead.
