Ingredients

Dip Base
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened (2 blocks)
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar granulated or powdered
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Mix-Ins
  • 1 cup dried cranberries roughly chopped
  • 3 medium jalapeños seeded and finely diced
  • 0.25 cup green onions thinly sliced

Equipment

  • Hand Mixer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Ensure cream cheese is completely softened. Beat it in a bowl with sour cream, lemon juice, sugar, and salt until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Finely dice the jalapeños (remove seeds for less heat) and chop the dried cranberries.
  3. Add the cranberries, jalapeños, and most of the green onions to the bowl.
  4. Fold gently until well combined.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with remaining green onions.
  6. Serve immediately with crackers, or chill for 2 hours to let flavors meld.

Notes

For a looser dip, add a tablespoon of milk. For more heat, keep the jalapeño seeds.
