  • 1 small candy cane hooked over the rim

Equipment

  • Champagne flute
  • Shallow dishes (for rimming)

Method

  1. Pour 1/2 ounce of cranberry juice into a shallow dish and sugar onto a plate. Dip the flute rim into the juice, then into the sugar to coat. Set aside to dry.
  2. Drop pomegranate arils into the bottom of the prepared flute. Pour the 1 ounce of chilled juice blend over the arils.
  3. Gently top the flute with 4-5 ounces of chilled sparkling wine, pouring slowly.
  4. Hook a small candy cane over the rim of the glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Using dry sparkling wine (Brut) helps balance the sweetness of the juice and sugar rim. Ensure all liquids are deeply chilled to maximize the fizz.
