  • 16 oz frozen sweet corn or fresh corn kernels
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey adjust to taste
  • 2 oz cream cheese cubed
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly cracked
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and honey, stirring until melted and bubbly.
  2. Add the frozen corn to the skillet. Stir well to coat in the honey butter mixture.
  3. Cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until corn is cooked through and slightly golden.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add the cubed cream cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Stir constantly for about 2 minutes until the cream cheese melts completely and creates a creamy sauce.
  6. Remove from heat immediately and serve hot. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper with the salt.
