Ingredients

Fruit Base
  • 2 large apples Honeycrisp or Fuji, cubed
  • 1.5 cups red grapes seedless
  • 1 cup blackberries washed
  • 0.5 cup pecans halves or chopped
Orange Cinnamon Dressing
  • 3 tbsp orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together orange juice, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Wash and cube the apples (discard cores). Wash grapes and blackberries.
  3. Place all fruit in a large serving bowl.
  4. Pour the dressing over the fruit and toss gently to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle pecans over the top just before serving to maintain crunch.

Notes

Add dried cranberries for extra chewiness. The orange juice prevents the apples from browning.
