Ingredients
  

Pumpkin Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.25 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs room temperature
  • 15 oz pumpkin purée not pie filling
Glaze & Topping
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream add more for thinner drip
  • 1 tbsp gold sprinkles for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugars, baking soda, baking powder, and spices.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix pumpkin purée, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until no flour streaks remain.
  5. Spread batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow bars to cool completely before slicing into squares.
  7. Whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cream to make a pourable glaze.
  8. Drizzle glaze over bars and top with gold sprinkles before the icing sets.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For the best drip effect, ensure the glaze is thick like honey.
