- Thaw shrimp if frozen and pat completely dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Optional: Blanch broccoli florets in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain. This ensures they are tender.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer.
- Sear shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and golden. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the hot skillet. Simmer for 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.
- Add the broccoli and cooked shrimp back into the pan. Toss to coat evenly in the glaze.
- Cook for 1 more minute to heat through, then serve immediately over rice or cauliflower rice.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tsp cornstarch with 1 tbsp water and add to the bubbling sauce.
