Ingredients

Chicken
  • 4 medium Chicken Breasts Boneless, skinless
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For searing
  • 1 tsp Salt Divided
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper Divided
Hot Honey Glaze
  • 0.5 cup Honey Good quality, heavy viscous consistency
  • 2 tbsp Hot Sauce Cayenne-based (e.g., Frank's)
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
Topping
  • 0.5 cup Feta Cheese Crumbled
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley or Rosemary Chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Oven-safe skillet or 9x13 baking dish
  • Whisking bowl

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season chicken with half of the salt and pepper.
  2. Sear chicken in a skillet with olive oil for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.
  3. Whisk together honey, hot sauce, ACV, garlic powder, and remaining salt/pepper for the thick, viscous glaze.
  4. Pour half of the thick honey glaze over the chicken in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until internal temperature is 165°F (74°C) and the glaze is gooey.
  6. Remove from oven, spoon the remaining thick sauce over the chicken, and sprinkle immediately with feta cheese crumbles.
  7. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes until feta is slightly softened and the sauce is fully reduced and sticky.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and spoon the warm, gooey sauce over the chicken before serving.

Notes

Pounding the chicken to an even thickness ensures uniform cooking. The glaze is meant to be **thick, sticky, and highly viscous**—use high-quality honey for the best results. Serve immediately over rice or with a simple salad.
