Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, cream cheese, egg, chopped dill, mint, and black pepper until combined.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo flat and brush lightly with olive oil. Place a second sheet on top and brush again.
- Place 2 tablespoons of filling along the short edge. Fold in sides and roll tightly like a cigar.
- Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush tops generously with olive oil.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until deep golden brown and crispy.
- While baking, warm honey in a small saucepan with chili flakes and vinegar. Do not boil.
- Plate the hot rolls, drizzle generously with warm chili honey, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Notes
Keep phyllo dough covered with a damp towel while working to prevent drying out.
