- Mix warm milk and 1 tbsp sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let bloom for 5-10 minutes.
- Add melted butter, egg, remaining sugar, salt, and half the flour. Mix until combined.
- Add remaining flour gradually until soft dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes.
- Place in oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in warm place for 1-1.5 hours (doubled in size).
- Roll dough into 12x18 rectangle. Spread soft butter and top with cinnamon-brown sugar mix.
- Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 rolls. Place in greased 9x13 pan.
- Cover and let rise again for 30-45 minutes until puffy.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes. Cool slightly.
- Beat icing ingredients until fluffy. Spread over warm rolls and top with fresh strawberries.
Notes
Use dental floss to cut the rolls cleanly without squishing the dough.
