Ingredients
  

The Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
The Crunch
  • 20 Golden Oreos crushed
  • 3 oz strawberry gelatin powder 1 small box
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
Assembly
  • 12 sheets egg roll wrappers or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

  • Deep Skillet or Dutch Oven
  • Food processor
  • Hand Mixer
  • Tongs

Method
 

  1. Crush Golden Oreos into crumbs. Mix with strawberry gelatin powder and melted butter to make the crunch topping. Set aside.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Place 2-3 tablespoons of filling into an egg roll wrapper. Fold sides in and roll up tightly. Seal edges with water.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and blistered.
  6. Remove from oil and drain briefly on paper towels.
  7. While still hot and oily, roll immediately in the strawberry crunch mixture to coat.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

You can also air fry these at 375°F for 6-8 minutes. Brush with melted butter before rolling in the crunch if air frying.
