Ingredients
  

Fish
  • 4 fillets tilapia or any white fish
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika for seasoning fish
Creamy Pepper Sauce
  • 12 oz roasted red peppers jarred, drained
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley chopped

  • Blender or Immersion Blender (optional)
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Pat tilapia dry and season with salt, pepper, and regular paprika.
  2. Sear fish in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 mins per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same pan. Sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  4. Add chopped peppers, smoked paprika, and broth. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. (Optional) Blend the sauce mixture for a smoother consistency.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and simmer on low until sauce is thick and viscous.
  7. Return fish to the pan and spoon sauce over top to warm through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread or over rice to soak up the delicious sauce. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
