  • 8-10 slices Swiss cheese or Provolone (gooey star)
  • 0.5 cup cranberry sauce canned or homemade (gooey sauce)

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch baking dish

  2. Layer turkey, then cranberry sauce, then Swiss cheese on the bottom rolls.
  3. Place the top half of the rolls over the fillings.
  4. Whisk melted butter, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and Worcestershire for the glaze.
  5. Pour the glaze over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is **thick gooey melted** and the cranberry sauce is **viscous**.
  8. Let cool slightly, cut, and serve warm.

Notes

Can be assembled (excluding the glaze/seeds) up to 24 hours ahead of time. The **thick gooey cheese** and **viscous cranberry sauce** are key to this recipe's flavor.
