Ingredients
  

Base Layers
  • 3-4 large bananas sliced into 1/3 inch coins
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter or nut butter of choice
Chocolate Shell
  • 1.5 cups dark chocolate chips dairy-free if needed
  • 1 tsp coconut oil to smooth chocolate
  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt Maldon style

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel bananas and slice into rounds. Arrange them closely together on the sheet to form a rectangle.
  3. Drizzle peanut butter over the bananas and spread gently to create an even layer.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread to the edges.
  6. Sprinkle immediately with flaky sea salt.
  7. Freeze for at least 1 hour until completely solid.
  8. Remove from freezer and break or cut into shards. Enjoy frozen.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer. Do not refrigerate as the bananas will get mushy.
