Cowboy Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders

Ingredients
  

Slider Base
  • 12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls 1 package
  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 cup BBQ sauce divided
Toppings
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese sharp
  • 6 strips bacon cooked crispy and halved
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions (e.g., French's)
  • 2 fresh jalapeños sliced thin
Glaze
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp garlic salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain fat well. Stir in Worcestershire, garlic powder, and half the BBQ sauce.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place bottom half in a baking dish.
  4. Spread beef mixture over buns. Top with cheese slices, bacon, sliced jalapeños, and crispy onions.
  5. Add top buns. Mix melted butter with garlic salt and brush over the tops.
  6. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until golden.

Notes

For less spice, remove seeds from jalapeños or omit them. Serve warm.
